How do I know what my bandwidth limit is?

    Hi,

I am going through my control panel and I can't seem to find what my annual or monthly bandwidth limit is. It only seems to show how much I have used, not the total limit.

    Thanks!

Best I can tell, you can only back into this number! LOL

There's a bandwidth usage screen which will give you a percentage of how much you've used out of how much you're allocated.

So if you've used 24% and you've used 48GB, then you can divide 48 by 24 and multiply by 100. That example would give an answer of 200GB.

PS It's a monthly limit for most account types. For one type, it's a daily limit, and others are on a throttled plan that has a speed limit but no data limit (other than the theorhetical "speed limit multiplied by all the time in a month").
    Good luck

    Thanks so much!

I seem to have used a few MB and it says 0%... D'OH

I guess I'll have to intentionally use up a lot more if I am to find out what the limit is

What type of plan are you on? (If you don't know, how much are you paying?)

    Currently:
The Gigadeal (about $11 a month) bandwidth limit is currently 7GB per day.
The SDX plan is 17GB per day
Reseller plans run between 125 and 300GB per month
VPS plans run between 150 and 700GB per month
Dedicated plans run between 1200 and 2000GB per month
    Good luck

I have the Gigadeal, but I signed up back in 2004. Don't know what the limits were back then. If the gigadeal has improved, would my account be upgraded over the years accordingly?

Just open a ticket to SALES in Nixcore and ask them - I'm sure they'll be happy to let you know. (Remember that they're only fully staffed Monday thru Friday so it might be tomorrow before they reply).

The last time that they upgraded the Gigadeal plan they automatically upgraded all then-current clients, so you should have the limits advertised on the site. Verify that by the total disk space reported in cPanel and, if you find a discrepancy, contact sales.

Yep, I've got the 17,000 MB of space just like the latest gigadeal advertises

that means my bandwidth is 7 Gigs Per Day and 210 Gigs per month. Oh my god. Awesome
