Hey all... I just did a little experiment with a spare dev box I had lying around the house and thought I would share...

I have been wanting to try this for quite a while and finally had a day off to give it a shot...

I pulled out a spare box I had sitting in my closet and formatted as a bare bones CentOS 4.5 system... Once CentOS was installed I downloaded and installed the OpenVZ Kernel as well as HyperVM...

HyperVM is pretty cool! It is an opensource Virtualization administration system that works great! It comes with several OS templates and is very easy to administer...

Currently it only supports Linux... This is my first real shot at any sort of Virtualization system and I am liking it! Makes for a great dev enviroment...

I know some other people are using systems like VMWare and such, but the OpenVZ/HyperVM works great and I HIGHLY suggest it if you are looking for a Virtuozzo Alternative!
