Prolly could remove from post #3 forward in this one, if ya wanna.
I was replying to Ron. He said remove as in delete or move out of sight. I know what closed is.

T_A, use the "Go to first new post" button ( ), it brings you to the first new post.

Really, I never have had much of a negative issue with older posts being open to addendum...
Many times incorrect info needs to be corrected
Often older posts that keep resurfacing lead to humor among the community.

I mean, other than this issue with the spammers, and that's been addressed already as they'll just find newer threads, how many negative events has this issue caused?

It's like a discussion about preventing shark attacks in Boston Harbor, ya know?
They can happen, and a couple of sharks have been spotted off the cape, but should swimming be restricted? Does there even need to be anything more than a quickly dismissed discussion about it?
    Good luck

Are you not seeing an edit button immediately after posting?
    Nope!

Hey Bell, if you are not seeing an edit button for at least 10 minutes after you post, this is a problem with your permissions that can only be fixed by Jag. None of the moderators had access to change or modify permissions. Drop Jag a message to have them fix.

It was done due to spammers who were posting safe/normal stuff then editing their posts later with the spam content in order to try and slip by unnoticed.

It would be nice if I could go back and edit my posts without a timed restriction so that I could edit my own technical errors...
    Good luck
