    Creative Commons Question

I am building a large template directory where people can contribute their own content. If someone has a site that lists their templates, which are all distributed under a creative commons license, would I be able to list their content in my directory without their permission as long as proper credit is given?

    The license is found here:

    http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/

The way I read that license it says I can. But can anybody congirm that? That would certainly make my directory much larger when I launch.

I'm not a lawyer but it appears as long as you follow this line:

Attribution. You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
You should be fine. If they are releasing their work under this license obviously they intend for it to be distributed but just want to insure they get proper credit.

Chances are anyone relesaing work under a license like this is just making sure that its commandeered by someone and sold for profit. Prety much how the GPL works.
