Smillie Flag Staff Vs Clients Game Day June 20th 2008!

Ok ladies and gents its time to play some video games.

    Download Urban Terror

    Our Server 69.73.141.222
    Password: fong

just open the console by pressing the ~ key and type the following
    /connect 69.73.141.222

Bam your in the game. Some of our employee's play this during the day / night when they arent working. If anyone has suggestions for other games, I know alot of us play TF2 and CS source. But Urban terror is a good one because it's free so the non gamers can play with us and it doesn't cost them anything to Frag with us!

I've never once played such a game... the closest was probably star trek on compuserve... Or FlashAttack on some BBS way back when.
If I enter the game, how long will it take for me to be killed off, and will I simply reappear again? Will you all be getting your jollies by killing the noob multiple times?

Just curious, what's the CDROM in the specs for?

LOL Only about 5 Jag Employee's are any good at it. Odds are you will get in walk about 20 feet then get shot & die for about 20 seconds. Then you will be loaded back in the game and the 2nd time you will know where you got shot from so you can get them.

I have no idea why the CDROM spec's are in it(We are talking about a Nick post here lol) But the specs are probably for some one that got the game on CD.

As for getting our jollies I think some of us might like to kill noobs, I mean who wouldn't lol. But I believe the purpose of the game would be more to relate better with you guys, our clients. An to show you guys we are like a large family we can play and have fun but also bust balls and get work done. Plus its Friday who doesn't want to kill the CSR that ticked you off on Wensday lol(relieve some stress for our/your weekend)

I am wondering if there is an advantage to being on the same subnet as the server...

Back when I played Star Trek, I had a 1200 baud MoDem, a huge advantage in those days.
    Good luck

Wont be much of a advantage if any. What could boost you guys if you went ahead and got on the server to learn control's ect while no one is playing. (I believe it is still online) I'l post the control layout here in a minute so you guys can know what button's do what before you play Friday.

If I'm going to play this, I'll need serious help --

A ringer to play it for me
    or
    psychological help afterwards.

OMG Who can remember all of those keys? (I think I am starting to sound like my Dad)
Is there a custom keyboard or other user interface that looks/acts like a tank cockpit that I could get at Best Buy (or similar)??
    Good luck

So a little steering device with a shooting button clamped onto my desk? Would foot pedals help?

Not that I might be willing to outspend the competition if talent isn't everything....
    Good luck

OK, so where's the command button sequence for "impenetrable armor with ghosting and endless ammo?" I'm not seeing that on the list.

It's the only way I'd have a prayer.

    Happy hunting, addicts.

I seem to recall a cheat called IDKFA on some doom game or wolfenstein or something my brother used to play.

I enjoyed playing that for a couple of hours once without getting killed every 3 minutes and having to start over. I'm not much into the repetitious/addictive thingy.
    Good luck

Frank has the Idea. An Ron I don't think a steering wheel will help much since its a FPS(Your a guy walking/running around with a gun). A joystick might help you but myself I just use a mouse to look around an shoot with and the W key to go forward.
