What's it take to get an account deleted around here?

I requested for my account to be deleted like 4 days ago and all I got was an email asking me if I wanted to downgrade my account to a shared account and I said no.

No word from them yet. WTF. If I get billed for another month, ****'s gonna hit the fan.

Four days ago sales/billing was closed for the holiday then we had limited staff for the weekend. I do most of the cancellation requests and will get through them today.

It's difficult to get in so it should be more difficult to get out.
    Good luck

    It's really not that difficult.

Weekend orders take longer.. we know that. But 90% of the issues 'getting in' that I see are billing related. Other times we don't receive a control panel option in the order and we need to verify those. (You'd be surprised how many forget to add that but do want it).

    Tracie,

Perhaps a note on the order form that cPanel will be installed if no control panel is requested would be appropriate. This would solve the delay dilemma and thus the gripes here on the forum.

cPanel incurs another cost though so we'd basically have to add that charge without their permission. So that wouldn't work.

Why would you choose the worst control panel on the market as the default?

I guess Winblows should be the default if no OS is selected as well?

You could issue a warning such as:
"You have not selected a control panel.

If you devide you will need a control panel in the future and you ask us to install it, there will be a $15 charge for this service.

If this is your intent click on "continue" to place your order. Otherwise go back and select a control panel. "
    Good luck
