Why is it a little Strong, N.O has been given preferential Treatment, and funds far far far exceeding other coastal area hit HARDER by hurricanes.. Purely because the local government cant do their f'in jobs, and because N.O has perpetrated a Welfare state were the people are 100% dependent on the government for every thing.

I did not see the People of GulfPort on national TV waiting for their government hand outs, I dont see the People of Gulf Port STILL leaving in FEMA trailers 3 years later,

No They picked their lifes up and rebuilt. They did not wait for the federal government to steal more of my money so they could buy Booze, Strippers, and Cigarettes with their "aid" checks like the people of new Orleans

    Too subtle I guess..

My comment was on your advice, in general. I am from the Netherlands, you see. About half my country lies below sea level and some 60-80% of our population lives in those areas..

Last time I checked the Netherlands is not Subject to Massive Storm Surge Multiple times per year, but if it is then that holds true for your as all....

If the netherlands, like New Oleans does, has to run massive pumping stations, have Massive under street water ways, just to keep the water out, then Yes you to need to stop building below sea level as well....
