Hi, I'm new

Hi all,

Just like to say Hello to everyone! :-)

I'm a health professional who likes to do design work and dabble with CMSs in his spare time. I was more involved in web dev some years ago but left IT because it consumed too much of my time. These days I'm doing web work for family and friends which seems to satisfy my appetite nicely. ;-)

We've just moved one of our sites to JPC for the first time. We're very happy with the new server and so are our users (as we can see from the responses we've had in the past 12 hours alone!). Everything has gone very smoothly for us during the migration, all services performed as expected and the response times are a blessing. It's a nice feeling to be with a well presented, professional host.

These forums are a great bonus too... lots of friendly people and good advice. If you'd like to take a look at the site, it belongs to my wife who likes to restore dolls in her spare time.

Welcome to JPC. Looking at the post in the center of your site, you've been doing the host-hopping thing lately. I'm happy to tell you that you're done with that--I was in your boat one time, but I've been here more than seven years and I have no intentions of leaving any time soon. This is by far the best host I've seen.

Yes, there is. Have them name you or your website on the sign-up form or shortly thereafter and you will get some credit (somehow, someday).
