I wonder if it's the Apocalypse or if it's just a DDOS...

Well, I don't know for sure what was wrong; both my wife's computer and mine were unable to access Google, while the rest of the 'net seemed fine. Then I switched to FireFox and Google was fine; I rebooted my machine and had the same results, so I rolled back a MS update that I had applied earlier and all worked.

Then I went back and checked my wife's machine and all was fine without doing anything other than bringing it out of hibernation.

So I re-applied the MS update and everything is still working just fine.

    So that was -- odd.
    Good luck

Something might have gotten caught in the series of tubes. Google has been working fine for me all day.

Dude, it's been over a week. Let it go. If you're still this down about it maybe it's time to see a shrink?

I'm pretty sure this is a temporary clinical depression; I'd think he'll be over it by 2012 or 2016 at the latest.

(I'm still waiting for any response you might have to my discussions about "scientist" Stephen Schneider, and I think one other thing too, but now I'll have to go look.)
    Good luck

My apologies Ron, I get in to these long discussions when I have some spare time at work. These last few days have been really busy so I haven't had the luxury of getting back to you, doing so would kill my productivity. I'll keep this on my to do list and get back to you as soon as I can.

The wonderful thing is that according to you from prior discussions we will all have jobs. Comrade Obama is a communist, don't you remember?

That will not be until his second "term"

He has to First Destroy the economy and Buy up all of the Industries

He is already starting with the Auto Industry.....

Well until communism really kicks in you can always depend on your welfare check. I must admit though that Im a little disappointed, here I was thinking the revolution would be fought during his first term based on our discussions from before amd now you are telling me I have to wait until the second term for the coup? How can Comrade Obama even be sure that he will win a second term? Seems like a dumb idea to leave the biggest revolution ever to chance, but what do I know? Obviously you've given this a lot of thought so I'll just rely on your judgement.

That is why "term" is in quotes,

I am sure he will be in office, I am just not sure he will be elected
