    JagRewards

    Vice nice sounding program!

I looked at my rewards account in my client area and find that I have been credited with some points listed, but not others.

I also can't find out any info on redemption -- what's available?

One thing that seems a little annoying to me is this: While I understand the idea behind a reward for not using support... why should I be "penalized" when the server is experiencing trouble and I report it?? I don't like this, as I would be very happy if there was another client like me on the server, catching and reporting problems before others noticed them.

(Sometimes in the past I might have felt like you owed me double reward points for dealing with support, and I'm sure the feeling has been mutual! )
    Good luck

I agree with Ron, I am sure ALOT of your support requests are for things that the end user should be doing, thus this program, but for people like me this kinda "punishs" me for something that is of jags own doing.

The Only time I contact support is because of something I cant do due to access Restrictions (mainly DNS Changes and such) or because the server crashs.........

But I guess this is like looking a gift horse in the mouth since before there were no rewards at all....

Same concern here. I understand that providing helpdesk functions costs money and that not using those resources can therefore be encouraged with a small bonus. However, like Ron and T_A, I don't like the idea of a penalty (relatively speaking) on reporting actual problems.

I think it is normal responsible behaviour to report problems, even more vague ones like recurring load issues, rather than let them persist and continue to let yourself and other users suffer from them. This should be encouraged, not discouraged in any way. If you want to do this right, the support system needs to distinguish between calls for assistance on matters under the clients control and communication on problems with the services themselves.

    Hi,

I think he was pointing out that instant in 'Its all instant real time.' is redundant.

It is all calculated daily, there is a cron job that runs at 4am Jag Time to give out new Rewards Points.
