    Email Web Clients

I had to help a friend with his hosted account on Godaddy a couple of days ago and now my email on Jag seems SOOOO '96...

I have tried the other 2 choices but of the 3 Horde is still better, but it is so slow and my biggest peev is when trying to send somebody an email, that you first have to look up their contact, just typing their name in the TO: does not automatically pop them in there.

I could see 3 choices for email
    1) Text only very fast, for mobile users
    2) Newer style with cut/paste, autofill TO: etc.
    3) Horde

Is using a program such as outlook or thunderbird not an option for you? Personally I don't like web based clients. There are open source mail applications you might be able to install, I'm not familiar with any but others might be.

That seems to be related more to directadmin, then roundcube.

cPanel has a safe version of Roundcube running. I mostly use a Nutsmail skinned version of Squirrel mail but Roundcube is looking nice!

I just tried out Roundcube. It is probably faster and a bit better than Horde, I agree.

    I just "feels" boring.

    I can't express exactly what I want.

As to the response of why use a webmail. It is not always practical to use a desktop based email client if you are traveling and do not use a laptop. It is usually easier to just get your email on the web.
