Exclamation Wanted: Conficker Author -- Reward: $250,000

    SOURCE: http://tech.uk.msn.com/news/article....entid=14090145

Microsoft today offered a $250,000 (£176,000) reward for information that results in the arrest and conviction of those responsible for illegally launching the Conficker malicious code...

Cnet quotes figures suggesting that Conficker is infecting between half and 2 million PCs day, while some experts conservatively estimate that 12 million PCs remain infected.

If you know something about Conficker's origins and fancy that cool quarter of a million bucks, you should "contact your international law enforcement agency".

As much as I hope these bastards get caught I have to admit that this worm turned out to be great business for me. I've cleaned off at least 5 PCs in the last 2 weeks with this exact worm.

    I know it's still random...

I know it is still a random 'saying hi', but I never heard back from you Vin.

I'm still curious as to why you have a picture of me as your avatar. I guess I'm mainly curious where you came across it to use in the first place.

Tineye to the wierd fine rescue

Not a problem! It is a novel idea isn't it? Their database is fairly small compared to say... google... but they seem to have quite a fun idea.

Heck... if found my portrait here, and the picture has even had either a filter or some saturation changes to it. And a smidge of cropping.

Lol... no. It really is me. Friend took it years ago for a photo class.
Here are some details. Box lights, his black fly sunglasses... banana republic sweater thingy and me.

It is flattering in a way, I'm just wondering were he found it/me .

Oh... and it was a medium format Polaroid

Can you take a picture of the Polaroid with today's newspaper? And/or maybe snip off a bit of the ear and send it to Greg? lol

Am I the only one that finds using another person's image as your avatar a little strange?

Yes, but then again, is that your image in your avatar? I used to like his Blue Man Group Homage avatar. At least that's how I remember it.
    Good luck
