Yeah, I know there's a little bleeding on the reds, but I think it looks damn skippy for YouTube!

1000 bitrate FLV seems to be the way to go...

    Hrm... That's interesting!

I was just looking at that video with my Linux lappy, and there's no bleeding or tearing of the red-on-white colors using this computer.

I wonder what's at play here - different LCD panel - different graphic chipset?!?!?

Looks shockingly good on my Toshy - almost like 3D!

    YouTube is such a mystery...

You know... here's another weird thing...

I've watched that video a few 100 times - playing around with it, and...

Those pseudo Rorschach inkblot tests really work! Certain things pop out at me, at times - and at other times, they don't.

It contains babies, breasts, beasts and stoic caricatures of the producers - this is all intended - obviously. A strange mixture of pathos and egotism, it is, driven by the syncopations of Devo!

At other times, I see things that probably aren't supposed to be there... such is the nature of inkblots.

    Weird!

    Well, Connie...

Some ppl are into making videos - and frustrated (to no end) at spending hours, days, or weeks making a 'perfect' video... only to have YouTube wreck it during their conversion process, when they upload it to their account. The only control you have, during this automated process, is the encryption you use!

To directly answer your question - I would imagine millions!

It's a MAJOR source of angst for many video producers...

I know millions use you tube. Can't imagine that millions would be interested in what you publish.

    My favorite comment...
Vanilla TC, you should shoot a video for this (where you do more than sing in front of your computer lol) and include random clips of the Teletubbies with no explanation--as an homage to VinDSL . . . who is kind of a genius.
    LoL!

    Food for thought...

First impression was: wow, you ruined it. Lasting impression was, wow, you fixed it.

I care. I just haven't worked out why.

    Edit:

Congrats Vinnie on the first youtube vid that played properly on my laptop.

    Hrm...

Well, I'm a trombone player, if that helps you out - total bass clef mentality... if you understand music. Let's just say I was bred to serve - to fulfill a supportive role in life. Being a leader doesn't come naturally, but I deal with it in my own way. It's really more of a failure of others that has cast me into this unlikely role.

I used to psychoanalyze the other sections in orchestra - took me several years to figure them out - I tended to get along best with the drum section... but suffice to say that I'm a perfectly good second seater, when it comes to music.

I'm not a betting man, but I would be willing to wager that Ron was a clarinet player!

Still, that puts me head n' shoulders above the rest of you. If you can't understand what I'm doing on The Tube, I'm sorry - but, there are some that consider me "kind of a genius" at everything I do, YouTube included.

My '38 Nazi Olympia video was the best - got me banned for a year, actually.

Rob Zombie complained to YouTube about me using his music - as well as Square Enix (current owners of Final Fantasy). All in a day's work, I suppose, but it leaves one to wonder, "Why me," and not everyone else?

    LoL!

I guess that says it all - and the reason you're "kind of" infatuated.
