    I have NO idea what the heck that is all about. What's the point? 6 battles per day (or is it 3?) and you don't do anything but choose from a handful of opponents pre-selected for you and then sit there and watch it?

    I don't know what to tell you guys...

    I'm NOT a gamer! I hate gaming!!! But, I've grown to love My Brute... go figure!?!?!

    My Brute is a French web site. I never have understood the French mindset. French computer code, for instance, is all but indecipherable to me - always has been - always will be - but... it works.

    phpMyAdmin is a prime example. I understand it just fine, and have submitted many bug reports and bug fixes over the years. They're always appreciative of my efforts, but find some French way to patch the problem(s). I don't know what it is exactly, but the French have there own way of dealing with things that are totally foreign to my way of thinking.

    My Brute is the same way! It's the stupidest game I've ever played, but I find it soothing, at some level - just what I need after a long day at work.

    It's easy to sell it short, as Ron has done!

    There's more to the game than meets the eye, dogman.

    First of all, creating a character...

    I probably create 50 characters a day. Why? It's all part of 'the game'.

    When you create a character, the (French code) generates a weapon system and feature set. Many times, you get nothing - but that isn't necessarily bad.

    I've created a 'worthless' character, with no weapons and no specialties - only to have them acquire a wolf/panther at Level 2 (after like 3 fights), and thus, become almost unbeatable in future fights.

    You have to remember - the French are the ones that made the Ace (value 1) e.g. the lowest playing card in the deck - higher than the King and Queen (happened during the French Revolution).

    As far as naming brutes after spammers goes - this is totally consistent with the way I create brutes. You see, if there is a name that you really like, but it gets associated with a worthless brute (at creation) - just don't fight anybody with that brute - and the brute will get destroyed on the next reset (24 hours) - freeing the name. That way, you can keep making brutes with that name, until you create one that you like.

    In the case of naming a brute after a spammer - I had NOTHING invested in the name. That's why I was so shocked to get one of the most awesome weapons on My Brute - the whip! In all the 100s and 100s of brutes I've created - I've only acquired a whip twice, sooo...

    After you've made a brute, you have to decide if you want to password protect it or not. Sometimes I password protect them, sometimes I don't - and there are pros and cons to letting other ppl play your brutes for you.

    LoL! Am I boring you?

    Creating a successful brute is half the fun of the game - and there's more to it than what I've described! The rest of the game is the same way.

    For instance, I maintain a list of 'easy kills' for the first 10 levels - the idea being - things start get interesting at Level 10 and above, so you want to get there ASAP.

    Anyway, I'll stop there. I'm probably wasting my breath, but...

    If I keep going, the search engines will probably drag a lot of My Brute traffic to this web site - and I'm not sure the Chief would appreciate it.
