    Thumbs up Kudos

    /dusts of keyboard...

Got to work this morning and discovered a client's site had been hacked. I was shocked such a thing could happen here. I was able to quickly determine that it was a simple attack replacing all the index files. I restored from a copy I keep alongside (diff. name) and went on my merry way.

No other sites were affected and I suspected it was limited to the one machine -- aurora2.

Came here tonight to check status because server was down again and I see Jag is attacking the problem head on....Kudos all the way around.

I'll go back to hibernating now...

Yeah it was all of Aurora2 (as well as some other hosting services the guy hit all at once, looking at his blog with the list of all the websites he hit.. i am somewhat amused by seeing every one of my domains in that list). I found it in the morning while preparing for a 14 hour drive so got with them about it, and they acted fast and figured out what was going on before I even got out of the city I was in. hooray JPC!
