I assume your site is (or at least should be) accessible by both domains? And I also assume the .com address is the "main domain" that is linked to your Aletia account? If that's the case, all you need to do now is submit a "parked domain" request for the .org address using the form in your Cpanel. You've done everything on the registrar end of things, but Aletia must enter the domain in its nameservers in order for it to point to your site, and that's what the domain parking request will tell them to do.

    Thanks

Thanks, but reachacross.org is the only domain I want. the "reachacross.com" belongs to someone else. I mistakenly asked for the .com version.
At present my account has not domain pointing to it.
    thanks again

Oh, I see. From what I've read on the forums in the past, it is often difficult to re-associate an existing account with a new main domain name. The easiest way is to cancel the bad account and create a new correct one.

But if that's not an option for you, you can still do the domain parking thing that I mentioned before instead. Then the .org address would point to your site regardless of whether or not Aletia thinks you own the .com address.
