I have offically sent an email in to aletiahosting.com to cancell my account. Hope they reply. New host not telling yet untill I move there ...

    well this is it for me

    I have offically sent an email in to aletiahosting.com to cancell my account. Hope they reply.

    New host not telling yet untill I move there and figure things out.

    I might even become partners with this guy and help out in the tech support area.

    He is already hosting 3 other websites including a new pc magazine business which hasn't fully opened yet and I will also be subscribing to that.

    I will still try and help out here onthe forums as I ave had many problems with my server and should be able to help out anyone using the scorpion server.

    just letting you know untill a few months ago this service was excellent.

    thanks for putting up with me all this time you guys.

    I have moved 3 of our 4 domains to a different host. The last one remains for at least one more month as I do backups of all the information, etc.

    I had a 4 day period of no response to an open ticket. I guess they were just too busy to answer a simple question of where I could find my Pay Systems ID number.

    Anyhow, I'm thrilled with the host I have moved to, they do nightly backups, are always on ICQ and if I ask a simple question on Q I get an answer on email if I'm not on Q any longer. In fact, before I signed up I had a support tech on Q for more than an hour answering my inane questions.

    I'm glad I made the move and I cannot wait to get the last domain moved, less headaches and high blood pressure moments.

    cool some people around hear on scorpion and other servers have not been kept happy have they.
    I was wondering what host did you move to?

    If you know the CC# you used when you signed up with Aletia, you don't need your paysytems ID.

    Go to this page:

    https://auth.paysystems.com/cardholder/default1.asp

    Enter the info required. The amount charged will either be the monthly or yearly rate Aletia charges. You paysystems ID will be shown then. You can cancel the rebilling there too, which I would HIGHLY recommend if you are leaving Aletia
