I'd bet that it's the Atari 800 font. Cool!

Come on, SS. You know the first rule of forums: if you really wanna stir up trouble, you gotta post a counter-example. Like, poor ol' "Script" (the original, Windows bit-mapped version). Now there's a great font that everyone picks on.

I hadn't even realized that at first... but I think you're right! Even more proof that it's the coolest pixel font in existance!

Ha, the Silkscreen website says that Jeffrey Zeldman uses it. Wrong! He used to use Silkscreen before he realized that 04b_21 is better! See http://www.zeldman.com/

Jason Kottke! I seem to remember meeting him once (both of us lived in Minneapolis, and he was/is friends with a friend of mine).

Yeah, Silkscreen's all right. But it reminds me of one that I made to create an 80-column display on a ZX81 back in the 80's. There's only so much you can do with a small number of pixels.

Yes it does. As a matter of fact, it's the same that Costa Panayi used in several of his games for the ZX Spectrum, such as "Revolution".

Well, as I said: there's only so much you can do with a limited number of pixels. But then, that's part of the fun. It's like coding your own guestbook, even though there are 1000's of others out there. (Can you tell who's infected with the "not made here" bug? )

Ok, Superlooper fonts may rock, but that website is the most unintuitive piece of junk I have ever been to

I dunno. It's not the best, but it has some charm. And any fan of Groove Armada can't be all that bad (even if he does make Vogel-esque illustrations).
