    Fix puma already, seriously

I've been here a while now and put up with a lot while hardly ever complaining but this is honeslty getting disguesting. Do something about puma already as right now its basically useless. I know support doesn't come here a lot as they have better things to do but I needed to vent and I'm not going to bother sending in a support ticket because they are aware of the problems

I agree... It's worthless. My site is slow and I'm not getting any stats anymore. But I'm giving them till May per my thread here...

Right now, it's pretty tempting to jump to Tera-Byte or Always Web Hosting. They can solve me problem today, versus being patient (that word is being taken to new levels) for Aletia to come through.

We will be getting rid of puma the same way we got rid of scorpion. They have the same hardware and even though puma's issues aren't as bad as scorpion's, we are not taking any chances and are preparing to move accounts to new machines.

Wow thanks for the reply Dana, I wasn't expecting to hear anything

Glad to see you guys are taking things seriously and have a good long term solution

Now I just play the waiting game...

That is good news Dana. I'm afraid Puma is limping along on it's last legs. :dead:

    Peace...

Excellent, Dana! Just when I was about to give up hope.

(I hadn't been expecting a response either, based on previous discussions. I also had been wondering about the Puma/Scorpion relationship).

What kind of time frame for moving people out is estimated, roughly speaking?

Also, here's some possible name suggestions for your growing menagerie:

Aardvark, Anteater, Barracuda, Cougar, Dragon, Falcon, Fox, Gazelle, Jackal, Jaguar, Octopus, Platypus, Piranha, Rhino, Wildebeast, or Wolf.
The trouble with our times is that the future is not what it used to be.

jaguar is already an Aletia server...in fact, it is the one that these forums are hosted on. They don't open it up to the public, needless to say...

    That is great!

My confidence has increased. No more talk of leaving or looking for other hosting solutions.*

*At least for a week or two to see if sites are actually being moved in a timely fashion and without begging. I'm skeptical.

Good, I was starting to question Puma... I have had many problems with it.
