    Support sucks

Okay, I'm pretty much at the end of my rope with Aletia. I've had two accounts hosted here for a while. I'm in the process of moving one off now because of the downtime and MySQL problems on cobra. My other site isn't ...well, basically I don't mind the downtime as much, so I figured I'd leave it here. However, I wanted to add a domain to that package (with the multihosting and all).

So, I open a ticket. I get a prompt reply. I reply back and say what I want. Then nothing. So, I reply to myself, asking for support. Then nothing again. So, I reply again to myself. And nothing. So, I open a new ticket asking for some support in the other ticket. I promptly get a reply to the new ticket and someone writes a bit on the original ticket. Which I reply to. And then nothing. So I reply some more. And still nothing. So, I reply to the 2nd ticket I started asking why no one will help me on the first one...and still no reply on either. So, I'm stuck. I don't think that I should have to make a new ticket every time I want a reply to an old ticket. And just as a note, this has happened over a week and a half time. It's not like I'm expecting rapid fast service, but a reply every two days shouldn't be too much to ask. If you're thinking of using Aletia, I'd advise against it. Strongly.

Unfortunately I witnessed the same kind of behavior recently. Took 10 days and 3 tickets.

It's sad to see that Aletia's support isn't what it used to be.

When you guys reply to a ticket, do you reply by email?

The best (and I think the required) method is to update the ticket through the web interface.
