Is Whale An Aletia Server?

Is whale really an Aletia server? The site http://whale.nocdns.com exists, but Whale isn't in the dropdown list on the secure.aletia.com/support page.... Is it really an Aletia machine?

I think it's an Aletia server and they just don't have clients on it. I believe that this forum is hosted on Whale, but I'm not positive...

Well.. not sure really... I have access to an account on whale. Whale is an Aletia server. Open for normal customers? Not sure.

I see a few accounts on whale, so it might be a new server and waiting for some customers

Aletiaforums.com is hosted on jaguar.nocdns.com. Check it out

These forums are indeed on jaguar, but I agree with eXodus that they are likely not hosted anywhere near the same network as all the other Aletia servers, simply for the fact that these forums specifically need to be up, even if the entire network of other servers goes down.

Just in case any of you wanted to know, I asked Aletia if it was one of their servers and if it was open to normal customers. Yes to both questions.

I think we were told when Scorion was in it's dying throes that we would be moved to Swan and Whale, so maybe it just hasn't made it to the support drop-down list? Swan wasn't there either when I had a ticket a little while ago.

Last I checked, Jaguar was hosted on the Rackspace network. A logical placement for support forums.
