    common courtesy

Isn't is just respectful when you say thank you to someone that they say your welcome or thank you back for your nice comment?

I was kind, nice, said it was appreciated and what did they do?? They just closed the ticket without any word. It was the fastest ticket ever being answered and it was just closed and not even replied to.

Makes one feel crappy for acknowledging something good that aletia did. Nice. Thanks aletia, perhaps I should take back my praise. Ever hear of common courtesy?

Glo i understand how you feel its happening every where these days

Everyone is striving to get someone to get more money, power, houses, cars and stuff like that..

Everyone seems to be forgetting that being friendly and getting somewhere can work hand in hand..

But one day Glo people like you and I will no longer be around and the world will be vioid of kindness.. and on that day the reason to live will be no more..

OOOH Look at me i am being indepth .. hahaha
All opinions are the result of being uninformed, unintelligent and uninterested!

While those types of things are nice, and in a face to face expected, I usually think when they get the thank you, they get a smile in their day and go on to deal with the next ticket. Thereby saving a little bit of time, and getting to the next ticket. I could easily be wrong, because the person who opens your ticket next is unlikely to be the person you are thanking, so maybe they are just thankful that it's done and go on from there

There's folks on here howling about far worse, they did what they were supposed to - and I've never see anyof them go about that in a manner that was not very pleasant and polite.

A split second to say thank you is all it would have taken. I'm sure whomever smiled, but to be thanked is a nice thing especially when you take the time to tell them their effort is appreciated. Yea, I'm burnt about it. My mother raised me to be polite, but I will move on. It's not the most important thing in my day.
