This is a discussion on a solution to the current situation with aletia in the Open Discussion & Chit-chat forum
this is really getting out of hand . we should all unite and speak to aletia , we just want to know what is going ...

    this is really getting out of hand .

    we should all unite and speak to aletia , we just want to know what is going on .

    from my experince with aletia :

    first i lost my domain : yahadi.net , but then every thing was perfect , it was better than i expected and until on week earlier i was reciving answers to my support questions immediatly .

    the control panel was improved to be better and faster .

    aletia is on the right track really , and they are doing an impressive job .

    however this week problems began to appear on surface as no answer e-mail or tickets , also my machine "tiger" has been down for one day now .

    we all have the right to know what is happening , cant any one contact them in ths US ?

    maybe they are busy making deep maintenance or fixing problems .

    i am waiting for you replies .

    Well I hope Aletia will come through, i like their services and i really like the support ppl

    I received 3 replies from Sharon, Lijoe and Vinu. Unfortunatly the problem was not solved nor was there an answer on the problem.

    They said they will notify the department concerned which is great if this dept. would contact you, alas after 4 days waiting im (and you guys) still not helped.

    It seems the main support ppl are absent, ie laura, Marc, Ron and Dana. Reason for thinking this is when you email them no reply is received. I've also noticed less announcements being made on the forum.

    I don't know much about hosting companies but here are my 2cents :

    -To stop the influx of to many new clients maybe they can update the hosting plans and prices, Or temporary closed getting new clients and reoganise

    -Acquire more support ppl or reorganise so support is handled like it should be. Ideally US, EU and Asian timezones should be covered for support to be ideal.

    -More communication towards the clients is needed !
    If machines go down it should be announced very quickly as with other problems.
    I also don't see why Support can't post replies or post new topics themselves, communication with the clients improves the community and everyone's happy.

    -I also feel the forum is getting to big to be really efficient.

    I'll prob can post more ideas but this will do for now

    Moving to Aletia Chit Chat since it is not really a support request. It's a question about the lack of it If you want it moved to suggetions/feedback, a mod can move it there for you if you prefer
