    Hobbies / Pastimes?

Well, I guess this is one of the rare times that I actually post here and try to be.. **Shudders** social. :P

So, what's your hobbies or pastimes?

I enjoy reading, coding extremely basic webpages (:P), playing certain videogames and writing guides for them as well as singing Karaoke.

    Hob..by? What's that?

I'm a big vinyl geek. I collect lots of indie/post-hardcore records and sell/trade them on Skylab.

I play drums in bands that always seem to break up 2 weeks after they start..

I go to lots of local bands' concerts...

So I guess music is a big passion of mine.

    Enough of that.

I'm really into bikes. I try and get them for free by doing websites for bicycle companies; most recently, I got this one by doing the company's dealer-locator. Wheee!

And finally, I relieve all my stress by constantly playing Grand Theft Auto 3 for the PS2.

    hmm what I do?...
As for computer wise. Web design, graphic design, a little php coding.

I use to skateboard a couple years back. The odd time I'll take it out and have some fun with it, but its very rarely I will.

I'm also really into music as well. I'm always looking for something I haven't heard.
    Nomsane?
    That is all.

    Okay, here goes:

    1. Private pilot (VFR). 350+ flight hours so far.
    2. Ham Radio (callsign: KE6SHF). No-code tech, mostly just messing around with 2M.
    3. Canoeist (I have a 19' Old Town). Used to race in high school, but I'm not in shape for that any more.
    4. Microwave electronics (I have a small lab, mostly interested in 10GHz gunn diodes). Haven't done much this year with it though.
    5. Skiing! I *love* downhill skiing! I enjoy all terrain but moguls.

And, I must mention my one geek-ism anti-hobby, TV. Someone had to explain who Seinfeld is to me last year.

hehe, i'm a geek for the most part

    1. SLEEP (i norm. get 5 hours during school year, so i LOVE sleep)
    2. Teaching: i generally love teaching. i teach mostly tech stuff, that i can do. don't ask me to teach anything else. and if you're a pain in the ass, i kick you out of class - literally.
    3. basketball - i'm a HUGE basketball fan. unfortuantely work and school gobbles me whole. but recently i've gotten back into basketball since the celtics made it to the eastern conference finals. i plan on going to several games next year if i can find friends who want to go. =/ most of them are girls and they don't like sports i also play too when i get the chance. basketball came to me when i was a kid. 5 ft + in elementary school gives you a jump start
    4. web design: unfortunately, it's more work now than a hobby.

In my spare time I do track and field (100m dash run, 110m hurdles, long jump - used to high jump in high scool also )

I collect adult comics (oo-er!) my favorite hero is Druuna because of her errr....assets

I also enjoy the noble sport of tail-gating SUVs driven by soccer moms at 20mph on the fast lane, at rush hour towards Disney World (hiway 192). That usually does the trick and they either pick up speed or they exit hysterically at the closest McDonalds or gas station
