    hehe, they're clever!
I'd buy a mac, but i don't have the money to right now. I'm going to buy one next summer for college. I'm going to apply for several scholarships that you let spend the money on what you want for college i.e. new computer. YahoO!

MacWorld is in New York 17th to 19th, anyone going? I'm going with a friend and his family woohoo! I can't wait.

Hahaha. I AM buying a mac next year. I'm just trying to figure whether I want an ibook/powerbook or a G4 tower.

They are SOOOO coool. I already have a Dell Latitude. I'm going to upgrade it for college so I can use it for class. But I'm buying a mac for my pure entertainment! hehe.

Dogma: Are you using that iPod with a Mac or a PC?

clio: So as a devoted MacFan, you're admitting the need for a PC? And when you say you're going to upgrade your Latitude, do you just mean its network interface so you can use the campus network or something more? (BTW: my neighbor's son who now attends BC, my alma mater, says the entire main campus is dotted with wireless access points and the whole thing just runs super smooth.)

As a .NET developer, I can't just give up on PCs. Hmmm, maybe I should give up doing work when I'm not at work. Wow, what a brain f@ck.

Anywho, the LAN administrator commercial really piques my interest, but the DJ commercial is a big turn off because it sounds like she is saying she can't figure PCs out and Macs are for "dumb" people, like me. But that aint me!

The only reason I need a PC is somewhat similar to yours. For my CS Classes, we use PC and the software is PC. You can program on a Mac. Other than the CS, I can do everything that I need to on a Mac

    I use Mac at work.

I'm going to the MacWorld Expo, Wheeeeee!!

    oh forgot about the upgrading.

I'm just going to upgrade the processor and add more ram. I need to replace the keyboard this year, because some of the keys are already jamming on me. Other than that, it runs smoothly. I do reformat every now and then to keep it clean.

Aside from the fact that Macs are well engineered and AOL is not, don't you ever feel that Macs are the AOL of the hardware world because its fans (or maybe just the commercials) say "everything I need is right there, email, chat, Oprah, etc." As if the regular Internet doesn't offer that. Besides not crashing, what can you do with a Mac that you can't do with a PC?

[I'm not trying to bash. I'm just such a computer slut and Macs are sooooo Sexy. I think I like the G4 Tower of Power with the silky smooth flat screen.]

[The stuff in the square brackets was meant to convey that I get the Mac bug once every couple of months and need to sit down with a doctor and a dose of reality before I can move on.]

I like them mostly because they're sexy, hehe. But again, we use them at work. In terms of the graphics arts world and the digital video editing world, Apple rules.

They're sooo cool looking. We have 10 new G4 towers in the classroom and I LOVE them. We got this kickass DV Cam too and it's sooo cool. I'm going to buy a G4 tower or an iBook next year. And hopefully a few years after that, a DV cam. A really NICE one like the one at school/work. It cost around $2000 tho. =/ But it's soo cute and small LOL.

And iMovie is soooo easy to use. mac is SEXY.

I always try to hit MacWorld when it's in San Francisco... is this your first MacWorld visit? They're a LOT of fun.

I find I'm happy with my PC dual-booting Windows/Linux, but I do have an original iMac sitting around. It's a fun toy. Mostly because of Clan Lord.

I could be one of those people in the commercials. I was a hardcore PC fan until I got the job I have now and I was forced to work with Apples. Then I converted and am a Mac fan. So, no, I've never been to one of those Expos. This will be my first, hehe.

The next computer I'm buying is a mac, I'm 90% sure of it.
