    Problems with the forums?

I'm receiving strange problems when posting in the forums....

Are they upgrading to vB 2.2.6 or something?

I receive some Warnings, but then, I press Back and re submit, and everything works fine now.

    Have you noticed this?

Just confirming that I am seeing the same things. Also with the AletiaStatus page.

Yeah.... It's like when we're sending posts to the database.... I have been reading with no problem... But when I try to post, I get warnings....

I had a MySQL error earlier. I couldn't even get to the board at all. The same goes for the aletiastatus page. They both gave nasty error screens like there were files missing or database config issues.

I've had luck getting in by refreshing the page a couple of times. Seems there's a bottleneck somewhere. I think communication from most servers to the status page has been lost as well.

Another thing that appears momentarily down is the mechanism that sends out new message alerts on subscribed threads. At least I haven't been seeing any since last night.

I get some errors when trying to read some threads. Just reading, not posting.

It's only happened a couple times and that was yesterday.
    Nomsane?
    That is all.

Still happening here. I've seen it happening fairly regularly since last night with reading, posting and previewing, although not all the time. Just got an error trying to post this message, and have had to rewrite it. I'll try posting it again, hoping it will go through. First I'll copy it to my clipboard, just in case. Sometimes it works fine though.

Also, I'm still not getting any email notifications on new posts. Are you?

Here's what I got just a few minutes ago.

    Trying www.aletiastatus.com, gets me:
Warning: Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /home/aletiast/www.aletiastatus.com/htdocs/index.php on line 29

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /home/aletiast/www.aletiastatus.com/htdocs/index.php on line 29
Can't Connect to Database: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
    Trying www.aletiaforums.com, gets me:
Warning: Failed opening '/home/aletiafo/www.aletiaforums.com/htdocs/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0
Now they are all working again.

EDIT: I received it again posting this message. I hit refresh and it was fine again.

I'm getting many errors! Especially when posting. I think something's up with the server, I got all these errors on the aletia status page a while ago.

    Looks like something is happening.

That last post by eXodus just triggered my first email notification in a couple days.

Might have been a fluke though, or maybe eXodus has special powers.
