You people are the best host EVER!, all I really have to say to those who are having problems with them give them a chance and time to work on your problems. Personally I have never went to a host as good as them so you can always leave them but if you dont pay a **** load of money you will have a VERY hard time finding people as good as they are.

Yeah... you have to realize, the people who complain on this forum represent a microscopic percentage of Aletia's customer base. I would imagine most of Aletia's clients have never even needed to use the forum.

I sure have no complaints with the account I've had since last Sep, the tech supporthas been great, problems few, of course i'm on Swan, that helps

I am NOT happy about the account I paid a year in advance July 3 that still isn't set up - ticket of course going to the non-existant Laura Brandt.

After a somewhat bumpy start, I can't really complain right now. Aletia gives you a lot for your money, and contrary to some of things posted here, I've found the techs quite responsive and helpful myself.

But picking the right host depends a lot on your own needs and expectations. Sometimes the only way you find out if a host works for you is to take the plunge. Reviews, forums, and other people's opinions (including this one) should always taken with a grain of salt. Your experience with any particular host may be quite different.

I think your experience with Aletia depends a lot on which server you are assigned to and what your neighbors on that server are doing. Sometimes it takes time on the newer servers for things to settle down. Once they do, I don't think Aletia likes to mess with them much beyond the usual maintenance upgrades.

There's definitely been stuff going on in the account department that has filled the forums with several upset and frustrated customers. That's something that still needs fixing. I hope they are listening to Clio and others about this, so that we can all move on to better things.

I DO wish Aletia displayed more of an official presence in the forums. They used to, but now they seem to work more behind the scenes. But I HAVE noticed some suggestions have been quietly implemented over time during my stay here. So believe it or not, they do listen to constructive criticism.

Well I'm starting my bumpy start.

I'm hosted at Hamster, and trying to access my website is useless, either thru the domain or IP address. The browser just keeps downloading without stop, and doesn't load up any page. Just one or two. And it ain't my site's problem, because before yesturday i could access it perfectly.

My site works just fine. Support is great and fast, web site is always up (as far as i notice) and so is the loading times.
