Onto my second year of Aletia

Well, one year of Aletia Hosting and I think they deserve a review. More good then bad but it has my opinion of Aletia Hosting over the past year.

I found Aletia after being with Hypermart Hosting for about two weeks. I joint up and at the time spoke to Paul Reiter and Dana. Paul was great to speak to, this was on AIM at the time. I signed up on the 'Essential' plan. Then a day later they brought back the 'WHT Special' which had extra disk space and other options. I spoke to Paul and he was nice enough to change my account over.

Also meeting Mark on the way through and then met Laura who was also very nice over AIM and we spoke at the time about...anything.

Unfortunatly I have not seen Aletia on AIM or ICQ for months. But there support tickets always solve the problem.

Times have changed, obviously. As Aletia became bigger and bigger. I was placed on cheetah, the new big machine of the time. It was good for a few months but then the sever went down on and off for numerous times. Although after a while we were still provided with good explanations and it all (obviously) went through fine.

More staff were hired at one point and support greatly approved after major support problems and to its current excellent level.

Although numerious problems have popped up Aletia has handled everything proffesionally and always fixed up everything.

I was looking at a new host but no host could provide me what Aletia does. Guarentee of service for example. Aletia has been around for nearly 2 years (?) and that does not compare to other hosts from a few months. The plans are also set at POSSIBLE prices which allow the company to keep supporting itself unlike others.

Aletia always has great up to date servers which are always running fast and up to date.

Aletia Hosting is an excellent host and I would suggest them to anyone for there excellent support and plans.

Can only agree. Aletia was great in ther beginning. Hope JaguarPC will give that felling back to us.
