Although I am new to Aletia (signed up almost exactly 24 hours ago), I feel as though the communication could be a little better.
So far, I have heard nothing from them other than a confirmation from their billing company that they processed my payment.
It would be so easy to send out a form letter to users saying something like the following:
At least new users would have a great first impression of them, rather than waiting around for something to happen.Thanks for signing up, we appreciate your business! Within the next day or so, you will receive an email that will explain how to set upo your account.
For now...here are some useful tips...etc etc.

It doesn't take much, but that little tiny added bit of communication can really make a new customer feel better about parting with their cash.
