It is a 1825 hrs 8/10 and apparently Aletia has resolved the DNS issue.
I think they shot themselves in the foot this time - actually I believe that this time they might have pierced a crucial organ and their condition is critical.
I'm leaving as soon as I resolve a few things.
Unless Aletia does a massive PR campaign to all it's customers via forums, emails etc outlining some definite changes in corporate policy both regarding hardware and customer service and any and all the other issues that so many have attempted to communicate to them on these boards - I predict their demise sooner then later.
RON & DANA and at one time LAURIE have been friendly and I believe competent. Whoever is responsible for the overall operations of this company IS NOT. I believe that Ron and Dana are every day running around trying to put their fingers in the proverbial dike and are doing their utmost to prevent Aletia from drowning. Unfortunately guys unless this company either receives an infusion of CASH or PERSONNEL or both if necessary I think all you are going to have to show for it is sore fingers (been there done that). My best to both of you and any others that been doing their utmost to prevent the boat from sinking.
The handwriting is on the wall guys - Unless Aletia (unfortunately due to neglect it may already be too late) gets what is required as mentioned above and begins a massive PR campaign to convince it's customers of the forthcomming necessary changes - no more ignoring these boards and the silent majority out there who just suffer and leave - no more lack of things like a redundant dns server - no more pretending all the other complaints and other issues will just go away by themselves if they are ignored
OR If these things don't occur and I was an Aletia employee I sure as hell would be taking my time off and looking for another gig!
