It's 6.5 hours off for me. Great. =/
Is it 6.5 hours off for you too?
I remember this exact same problem in the past and it wasn't hours, but minutes too. It was like 15 minutes off or something. I thought it got fixed.

Yep, a while back the time was out by 15 mins so I complained and it got fixed. This time, as you've said its out by 6 and a half hours!

Quite honestly on this forum I don't care ... but if they don't bother to keep one server sync'd it doesn't bode well for the others. If the time on my server is off it affects my own forums and a number of other scripts Luckily thats not been a major problem yet. (Currently its only a few seconds out on Swan)

Yes, this is a problem that JaguarPC is aware of; being the nit-picker I am, I PM'd them right around the official annoucnemnt of the buyout. Actually, it's "only" five and a half hours off (it's slow by that much). My guess is that JaguarPC people will either wait until these forums are merged with their own (an annoucned direction) or fix it when things slow down if the merged forums are still off in the future at that point.

I agree, G.Bloke, that the time problems signal a problem with the synchronization on all machines. In fact, there was one server (Kiwi? Stingray?) that changed every time it was rebooted. I'd have hoped that Aletia would have set up an NTP time synchronization daemon, but they didn't. Since we'll all be moving to new servers (hardware- and software-wise), I'll be hoping that time synchronization (for these forums, too) will be de rigueur.
