Jag, I agree on the content; it was definitely a flood of 4-letter words due to frustration. Although I am not trying to justify eXodus, I think your prompt deletion of the original thread was a hasty reaction. It was a farewell thread with nothing negative about it.

That aint nice. I don't care if you own this forum but to ban one of the nicest individuals on this forum for on small mistake is just ludicruss.. if you want to ban anyone maybe banning the people who actually are annoying and constantly rude!

Im sorry but his post was one of the worst, rudest, and vulgar posts I've ever seen. That type of activity is not tolerated or welcome. It contained nothing but defamatory comments and messages to various parts of human anatomy.

I'm sorry but maybe you should actually have a look at some of the comments thought out the board and you will see it's not just exodus that made any derogitory comments. lots of people have. why haven't they been banned!

Everyone deserves a slip up. no matter what.

Id hardly call that a slip up but its no secrect this board needs more moderation. Others that dont play nice will be found as well when we have more time for that. This was just an obvious one.

Shouldnt matter much matter, he was moving on anyway...just felt like leaving a bad taste with us as he did.

I didn't see EXODUS's post but for him to leave what is not too difficult to picture from Jag's description truly means that he had reached a level of total exasperation with all that has occured here in the past few months both with Aletia and this latest situation with Jag -

EXODUS has made numerous contributions to this forum and has extended himself to help others. I have never seen him post anything that was abusive or off color or engage in any kind of flame or personal argumentative behavior. He like so many others (too bad you just can't see how easy it would be to win these people over)have reached a level where being hosted by Alelia/Jag is just not worth the aggrevation.

I believe that Jag's intentions are good but those intentions and a buck might buy you a cup of coffee.

I don't think that is the answer Jag. If you are seeing posts that reached the point of off color declarations and flareing tempers - yes you can delete them - that won't resolve anything - it will just have the effect of reducing your customer base - Weare use to being ignored around here and many are only still here (because there would have been a huge mass exodus after the DNS fiasco) because Jag stepped in and took over the company and many thought they would give Jag a chance to provide them with the services that they paid for - There have been many suggestions from customers including myself as to what we EXPECT from our hosting company and COMMUNICATION being #1 on the list - YET other then some innocuous posts that let us know your there they really resolve very little and do little to inform us of where we stand or what we should do to resolve issues that seem almost universal in nature. - LIKE I SAID I BELIEVE YOUR INTENTIONS ARE GOOD - and I HAVE NO DOUBT YOU ARE WORKING LONG HOURS AND WORKING EXTREMELY HARD - unfortunately all that work will not be worth a hell of a lot if your customers just throw in the towel and leave and many are already - If I were JaguarPC I would ask myself why and what I could do different to prevent those that are left from seeking out other hosting companies.

My last effort to get any of this across because to be perfectly frank I FEEL LIKE I WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST AS SUCCESSFUL AT TRYING TO COMMUNICATE THE CUSTOMERS VIEWPOINT OF WHAT IS GOING ON IF I WERE TALKING TO A ROCK.

and you missed the point I was making at the beginning of my post. I was simply using your own words to what I believe adequately described your behavior.

As to the balance of my post it was primarily directed toward Jag not you!

I have no desire to get into some antagonistic tit for tat thing with you Zac - and will do my utmost to refrain from it in the future. I felt your initial post was antagonistic and that I had done nothing to warrant it.

Personal argumentative behavior on this or any other forum is a waste of time and is disruptive and will alienate the other users who have no interest in trivial personal disagreements. Therefore I suggest that we both refrain

He's actually been banned on another board for harassing one of the members. He was rude, crude and foul. And yeah, it was/is the same Exodus.

I thank Jag for keeping the boards clean. Afterall there ARE young individuals on these boards everyday. I did see the original post and it was highly inappropriate. You want respect, you show respect. It's as simple as that.
