    Requesting Updates from Jaguar.

    Hello,

Thank you for reading this message. In light of recent events, would it be possible for a representative from Jaguar to post updates concerning current hot topics.

    These topics would include:

    1. The status of the Eagle server move.
    2. Data base problems (especially Eagle related).
    3. POP3 mail problems and fixes.
    4. C-Panel problems.
    5. The status of the Starfish server move.

As requested, the updates should include these and any other "hot topics" found within this message board.

Not only would this create a significant calming effect on many of Jaguars concerned clients, but it would also make good business sense. After all, the fewer complaints and disgruntled clients found on this message board, the greater number of new accounts for Jaguar.

Thanks again for reading this requst. I hope it is followed up with a positive response.

    Regards,
    Jeff Bender

All the sites were moved from eagle. As for the other issues Im not in the tickets so I cant really tell you the status of any of your open tickets on those issues. We are working on them and thank you for your patience.

    This is SO ALETIA LIKE

Jeff I'm sure you have read the Eagle post in General Support and in numerous replies I made the same suggestion and other suggestions and just like Aletia did for months they have all been virtually ignored.

The only difference is Jaguar has someone here to post a few words which have little significance in addressing the issues posted i.e.

    WHICH RECEIVED THIS RESPONSE:

I followed that with an additional post (page 6) of the Eagle thread and in that reply I was quite courteous and made it with the assumption that there was a misunderstanding in what I and others were trying to get across - although having reread my earlier replies and those of others I truly cannot comprehend how that could be - In this last thread I was very specific even to the point of a sample instructional post for those who were still having problems maintaining their sites on the new server via an ftp program. So far that last post has been ignored by Jag and the reply to your post was seemingly a brush off - You were told that the individuals on Eagle had all been moved - We knew that - as far as a request to address universal issues and post updates or solutions or instructions to resolve those issues - that was all just passed over - So I have to conclude that JAG is going to do it their way and that any input from their customers seems futile.

To be perfectly honest at this point I'm upset at myself for taking the time and making the effort to explain to them the customers viewpoint of what was going on and possible alternative ways of handling the ongoing transitions. Basically if before my contract expires in the near future I feel that they can provide me with reliable hosting with VERY LITTLE or NO down time at the same contract price I had with Aletia I will probably continue with them - If it not so be it - plenty of other companies that are making great efforts to lure customers to thier service.

    Hello Greg,

Thank you for the response. My inquiry was intended as a request benefitting everyone, not just as a personal update.

    When I made the statement:

In light of recent events, would it be possible for a representative from Jaguar to post updates concerning current hot topics.
I meant for someone within your organization, to post update within this forum, in an attempt to keep ALL Jaguar/Aletia clients (visiting this board) informed about current events that may have an effect on their accounts.

I apologize if I were not specific enough. But then again, perhaps this request is being construed as unreasonable and thereby dismissed.

In any event, Thank you the reading this message and your previous response.

    Regards,
    Jeff Bender
