There is a picture of a penguin being sexually abused circulating on this forum. Please help free the penguin!

It's obscene, unecessary, offensive, we got the message, so please someone: HELP THE PENGUIN!!!

    Let the penguin go!

    Stop the abuse!

Please, this is not a porn site. When I come here to find help, I don't need to look at that, I don't want to look at that, I don't like to have it in my face.

For the betterment of this community,

Haha, is this the same penguin that is in Still Shady's avatar?

Well, I'm not going to pass judgment, but the mods here with administrative powers might. In the meantime, you can always add the person to your ignore list if it offends you so.

I would also like to add that I have contacted the administration twice, as well as the individual over the past 3 days, but nobody seemed to care.

    I hope this will work.

You really shouldn't take to heart someones avaiater.. its just an image not like it is really happening.. it was made on a computer not a picture of real life.. I see no problems with it!

Heh.. I never even noticed it, then again, I don't look at the avatars, so perhaps that's why. I don't see why having a post like this is necessary, it's just drawing attention to it. I've seen worse.

Goes to show we're blinded by the cuteness of it. I see a big problem with that kind of avatar and if it stays, then I'll take my business elsewhere.

My daughter would ask: "Dad, what's happening with the penguin and the red demon?"

    I don't think so.

    Thank you.

At the top of the main forum page (the buttons up at the top here don't appear to work), Click on User Panel > Edit Options then scroll down to Thread View Options > Show user's avatar in their posts? Click No. Save.

    Thanks glo,

That helps. I can get to know that person through what is posted, instead of banging on this bad taste of an avatar. Much better.

I nonetheless question Jaguar's silence in this matter. Visible or not, it is still cartoon porn. Which I think they said somewhere they don't condone.

    somebody help the chairman

    Hey,

Typical reaction of denial: scream louder to draw attention away from the real issue.

Using insults is the next step to enforce denial and really try to pry attention away from primary topic.

I'm sure you got this picture on a very proper family-friendly web site...

I'm paying to be here. I have a right to complain if I'm offended. This is a public forum. Not a locker room. Respect, please.

I don't understand your abnormal reaction. Insults? Did you get insulted? Denial? What was the denial there?

    Are you happy now?

Screw your respect... I don't need it!

Perhaps you should have asked nicely Cyklon. As for emailing the administrators, the avatar was NOT against the forum rules.

It specifically refers to signatures, posts, and user titles, but not avatars. And the administrators only reserved the right to edit posts, heh, not the other things. But that's not the point.

The point is: ask nicely and you might just get what you ask.

I thought I asked nicely. Of course, you didn't read my personal email to Shady? If you can show me where I was disrespectful? In all things I used politeness, no insults. Shady DID use insults.

It was just after writing the administration twice and getting no feedback, then writing Shady and getting no feedback that I finally brought this public.

If there is another protocole that I should use, then please enlighten me.

    Regards,

    Cyklon
