So far, I'm considering:
University of Missouri, Rolla
K-State
Wichita State
I'd prefer to stay close to Kansas, so, any additional colleges you guys would recommend for an engineering-oriented guy?

Matt,
Rolla is a great school. I'm sure the others you mentioned
are too. Being from MO, I am partial. I don't think you can
go wrong in going to Rolla.![]()

AACC (Anne Arundel Community College) You don't have to have a GED or High School Diploma to go there. There one of the best community colleges there is.
Were is that?
I hear Washington University in St. Louis is good.
Isn't this kinda late to decide on college apps? Most are due next Wednesday. Look who's talking? I gotta run to the post office myself on Monday morning.Damn college apps. College Admissions stole Christmas, not the Grinch, as my friends and I are saying.

I'm looking at colleges right now (I'm still a junior though...). I just got back from visits in Minnesota. I'm in love with a nice little college there in a small town called Carleton. Former Sen. Paul Wellstone taught there...
Now, where to come up with $30,000 a year?

I like food.
Washinton in St. Louis is a pretty good school, both of my parents did their post graduate work there for 2 years or so. I was like 1 year old then but uh, what I remember is good lol
lolwell, I'm a junior, so its not too late for college apps

Oh wait, you don't go to my school, heh. http://www.fastweb.com is cool for scholarship searches. Most schools like Carleton only give need-based scholarships now. Heh, it's the only reason I'm thankful for having 3 annoying siblings.

AACC is Maryland. I think it is in Arnold, Maryland.
He wants to stay in Kansas area though. heh.
I don't know why, since New England has the best colleges, and snow! Heh. That's a biased remark, btw.

In my quest to NOT finish my college apps and screw myself over, I found something.
The Princeton Review has a nice website. Sign up for an account and keep track of the colleges you like. They also have something called Counselor-O-Matic. It's really neat. I filled it out last year and it gave me a good list of colleges that I eventually researched. I filled it out again just now and my 1st choice reach school and my first choice safety school appeared as 1st in both categories.![]()
It's a neat little survey. Just tell them where you want to go to school, what you want to study, yours grades, etc and it tries to find schools for you. Check it out.
Don't rely on it, but it's a good place to start.

I have it easy in picking a grad school...the one I work for since tuition is free there! No need to come up with $30k for me!

Really? Those kind of colleges are almost extinct! Which one is that?
