DNS entries?

Hey, I am thinking about taking a site that I have a domain name and I want to forward it to my other website to combine the traffic. Would it cost me more money to forward a second domain name to the site just as a forwarder though?

Cause I dont want to pay for a hosting site that I am not even gonna be using and everything has to be hosted on the main site. Is this possible or is it gonna cost me more $$? If someone could let me know it would be great
