    Angry evil office content blockers!!!

    hey guys,

i work at an office that blocks my surfing. they block it so damn much that i can't even visit www.hotmail.com!

do any of you know about good web based proxy/tunnelling/anonymizing(?) services that allow users to check their hotmail?

(that is, services that can handle the SSL, javascript, and cookies)

i'm willing to pay, but i'd love free options.

could i install some open source stuff on my own server, and use it to route my requests?

just so you guys know what i'm talking about http://www.orangatango.com does this extremely well (unfortunately, they're blocked too! )

    thanks,

    sharif

    Here's how to do it.

Go to Antiproxy.com. If it's blocked, go to it on another compute, choose a port. The best to use for web surfing is 8080. Copy down the first few addresses that have a latency of 3 or less. Smaller is better. Then, when your at work, go to the menu option Tools - Internet Options. Then select the Connections tab. Go down and click on Lan Settings. Select use a proxy server for your lan. Then type in the address, usually an I.P. address, and the port number. Sometimes one will not work, or it will be slow, so you will have to try again.
