Just curious! Since I'm an original *proud* Aletia customer I still use http://www.aletiaforums.com. I dunno but it seemed very home to me.

Could be a cache thing, S.S., but more likely a site redirection quirk.

Try this:

http://aletiaforums.com/ (I see a maroon background with the Aletia header)

vs.

http://www.aletiaforums.com/ (I see a blue background with the JaguarPC header)

The forum link on the Aletia site points to the first link.

Probably a cache coz it doesn't appear maroon to me, just pure Jaguar blue color!

Hit CTRL+SHIFT then CLICK REFRESH BUTTON! try that see what happens!

It doesn't always work for me either. It seems connected to whether it's remembering your log in info as well as the cache.

Some further exploration shows that the display behavior is definitely tied in with the login, and it isn't always easy to tell if you're really logged in or not. Sometimes it reports that you are when in fact you're not. I've noticed that happens on occasion when I've switched to a different forum URL, but normally it's not a problem. A tipoff that you're not really logged on would be that you can't see the support forum, or you're asked for your password to reach the user panel.

Not seeing red, huh? Doesn't help that English dictionary definitions are so imprecise when describing colors.

I get the old aletia colors and header until I open any forum then its the new Jaguar header and colors.

However as I just left a post in this forum "Reminiscent of Aletia Days Past"
it seems that regardless of color or the name on the header that when it comes to being forthright with issues that involve it's customers there has been little change.

Neon has been down for hours - Am I missing something is there a location that I am unaware of that will inform me that Jaguar is aware of the problem (which I am sure they are - a presumption on my part I admit) and when they expect to have that problem resolved.

I would have expected to find that information posted by Jaguar staff in the News forum - but as of a few minutes ago the last post there was some 3 days old.

I am a bit ticked but am hoping that I will be somewhat humiliated to find out that I missed the obvious and that said information is in an obvious place that I missed! However at the moment I fear that this is the begining of the same type of exasperation that I thought I left behind when Jaguar took over Aletia.

Please inform me that I'm blind and missed the obvious and the location of said information - in which case I will apologize for the tone of this post - otherwise get your act together Jaguar!!
