Except for one thing....does it have to have that 'music'? on a loop? After 1 min I just had to close the page as it was driving me mad, not the response you want from potential customers?

Yes, looks great! Nice color scheme, layout, etc. Overall it's very professional.... except for the sound. Personal opinion.. once it loads, nix the sound.

correct me if I am wrong, but I thought aletia as a company was history ... what's the purpose of having 2 companies that in essense are just 1?

    Two words: name recognition.

As for the sound, notice the on/off do-hicky to the right of the curly braces. Maybe they added it in after you guys posted.

And, yeah, I like the site too. Makes me feel kinda inferior though.

It was probably there all along but at 1024x768 it kind a disappears into the background. I still think its prudent to lose the sound after its run through once.

I looked yesterday but didn't ahve time to comment. I have to agree with the consensus here--it looks great, but that sound thing has to go. I wouldn't mind it if it played once and stopped, but on the loop it gets annoying quick, and you shouldn't count on users finding the button and disabling the sound themselves. If its a potential new client evaluating one of many hosts they are considering, they'll become annoyed and move on. They won't waste their time l;ooking for the "sound off" button.

we have a hew haeder i will put up today, it plays sound once then stops. The header is replaced on all other pages and only the main page has the sound now. I will get that up today.

Wow! Excellent use of graphics there. I personally love it. The sound is rather annoying, but I can live with it. But seriously, love the layout.

Not bad! Again, I think it's kinda strange if jag and aletia are one now to have two different designs. Even if it is for a name recognition thing, whynot redo the jaguar site and just have a pretty aletia page link to it? Just seems financially wiser to me, but that's me.

    Anyhoo, the design is yummy

    Aletia page

I just checked the Aletia site and the annoying music was still there, plus if you check off it only applies to the one page. When you click on another page (or back) the music is still there ( you have to click off again!).

    Definitely lose it!

    Overall it looks pretty good.

I posted this in another thread, but since it appears this has become the official feedback thread, here it goes again.

I noticed that when I click on the link to the manual, I get a 404 Error.

Love the design, but the sound is unprofessional. Hurry up and get the jaguar site finished.

I dont get a 404 on the manual link , what url is the link showing that is giving a 404 ?

The header only plays sound on the indx page now, and it doesnt loop . there is no sound on subpages now.
