That is a good one. Worthy of a binary hi-five: 101!

hmmmmm a binary high five is palindomic!...

so if two (sorry, 10) people meet and decide to give each other a high five (sorry, 101) it might look like this?

    (: 101101 :)

Would that make it a high 45?

(Waaaaay too much time on my hands.)

EDIT: Had to disable smilies to make it look as intended.

Nice, but then a decimal high five would be a high 55. I guess it's really a Bitwise OR.

    Did you mean OCTAL?

OoooooOOO! Geek humor! I could learn to like this place!

I used to like calculator humor. See if you can do this one:

    The patter:
"14215469 Iraqis fought (symbolized by the * key) 5 US Marines for"

    The action:
Enter 14215469, press * key, press 5 key, press = key, turn calculator upside and reveal answer in english letters.

What's really SCAREY about this is that I knew that number off the top of my head from many many years ago...

    Would ya like another?

Were those US marines from our Dutch reserves?

    Way scary!!!

Yes, another one, if you please.

    Ok, by "popular" demand....

    The patter:
"Two nineteen year-olds ran away for a year, and "did it" (represented by the division symbol [you know, the dot over the dot]) 5 times, and the reselt was:"

    The action:
enter 1919365 then press the division key, enter 5 and press the multiplication key [which in the hugely vast majority of calculators gives an interim result] and turn the calculator upside to read the result.

    Hint Below:

    The result is in Spanish...
