ftp upload from html

how can i add a panel in my website when people can upload stuff to my website? an ftp account infact.
instead of downloading ftp softwares and upload. is there an easier way?

You'll need to set up a script to do it. Essentially, you set up a form on a web page with a form on it. The action of the form is the script that will handle the upload. Have a look at a free script site such as http://php.resourceindex.com for a script that handles what you need. Be very careful with how you handle these uploads, they can be a HUGE security risk if you aren't exteemely careful.

That reminds of the 80's, when I was running a dial-up BBS. Somebody uploaded a game called Dynamite. Hello?!?!?!

Well, a co-SysOp decided to give it a try, on the server. Hello?!?!? It was supposed a self-extracting .ARC file or something. When he hit 'the button,' he said he instantly heard the hard drives going, buzz, buuuuzz, buuuuuuuuzz, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzzzzzzzzz, et cetera. He freaked out and hit the power button. Hello?!?!?!

LoL! I think we were down for like a week rebuilding the BBS...
