    Anyone use OpenWebMail?

I really want to be able to check my email with a web interface, but I find NeoMail and Horde to be lacking. OpenWebMail starts out with NeoMail source code (NeoMail is now an abandoned project, there will be NO more updates -- OpenWebMail is active!), and basically modifies NeoMail with way nicer features and power...

One BIG thing (besides looks) is that with OpenWebMail you can add POP3 accounts for it to poll, which means from a single web point you can check all of your accounts, not just local ones, i.e. if you have other POP3's that don't have Webmail or if you work someplace that blocks common webmail (i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail)...

I guess I can install OpenWebMail myself (can I as a virtual subscriber?), but I don't know if permissions will work right, and I don't necessarily want to waste the disk space if it is already installed and ready to run elsewhere on Jaguar's servers.

My last provider used OpenWebMail, which is why I mention it... it works much nicer than its archaic father, Neomail

I don't know if they can install it on the servers, since the current webmail applications are installed because they're included with CPanel... But you don't lose nothing if you ask I'd recommend you to open a support ticket

Even if they can't install it, you can probably install it in your own web space without a problem.

Jason is correct about the installation. However, access to your mail via self-installed openwebmail will count towards your bandwidth usage.
