    Dear Clients:

As most of you know we offer Clientexec for free with Reseller plans, and you can purchase it with any other plan for $3/mo
We are no longer offering to install this free of charge. I have included a guide and a link to the proper files so that you may install them yourself and perform your own upgrades. We can still install it for you at the cost of $15 upgrades are subject to our fee of $35 per half hour.
If you need support we do not offer it in any way shape or form you will need to use one of the following options:

    Newedge Support $5.95/mo

    ce-talk.com

    http://internal.nocdirect.com/clientexec_3_1_1_zend.zip 30-May-2008 13:05 7.3M

    New 3.0 Installation
    wget http://internal.nocdirect.com/clientexec_3_1_1_zend.zip
    unzip clientexec_3_1_1_zend.zip
mv clientexec (what ever directory the user wants it installed to)
chown -R username:username (directory used above)
Create a mysql database and add user to it with all permissions
    http://domain.com/path/install.php
    domain.com being their domain name
/path/ being the directory the user chose for clientexec

    Upgrade to 3.0
You will need to FTP the files into the CE directory overwritting all the old ones,
alternatively you can unzip via ssh and overrite all the files, you CAN NOT delete the
files and then unzip the 3.0 files they must be overwritten.
    proceed to:
    http://domain.com/path/install.php
Just go through the process, and once again you will have to put the above key in,
but if it has been licensed for 2.8.X it will still work for 3.0.X
Alternatively the files are located at:
    http://internal.nocdirect.com/Clientexec.2.8.4.Zend.zip
    http://internal.nocdirect.com/Clientexec.3.0.1.Zend.zip
Reseller Plugin for Reseller Clients to be used with Clientexec 3.0.1

After creation, a licence is needed, where is this provided?

open a ticket from the client section to sales to request the license...

be sure to include in the ticket the exact URL to the clientexec install and they will generate the license key

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.

My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.

The instructions here displays Clientexec 3.0.1 but after checking internal.nocdirect.com I see a 3.0.2. Is there any license issues if we install 3.0.2? Or is this forum post just not updated?

I would say this forum post is outdated... Install it and once it asks for the license key, submit a ticket to sales giving them the exact URL to the installation and they will license it for you.

Go to http://internal.nocdirect.com and you'll see that the ClientExec files are in a ClientExec directory...so you'd want to use

    wget http://internal.nocdirect.com/Client...3_1_1_zend.zip

    From the knowledgebase:

"ClientExec has IonCube and ZendOptimizer version so either can be installed. Just need to make sure that which ever version is used, the respective decoder is installed. "

I have no idea what any of that means. How do I make that determination?

Use the Zend version, zend is setup on all of our servers, and this install just works best.
