Scion to NewScion Migration

We have identified multiple failed drives in RAID array on Scion. We replaced the bad drive but as soon as the raid rebuild is started, server crashes. We have setup a new server and Virtuozzo has been installed on it. We will be migrating VPSs one by one from Old Node to New Node.

File system has gone read only on the old node due to which migration process has been stopped at the moment, we will resume with migration as soon as the file system issue is resolved. More updates to follow.

This has been resolved and VPSs are being started. We have also resumed the migration of VPSs to the new node.

We are getting file system errors on the old node again, our admins are currently working on the node to correct the filesystem errors so that we can resume migration.

After File System Check the old node is back online and we are moving VPS' from this to new node. We are not starting any VPS' on old node to avoid further issues and trying to quickly move the data off of this node. The migrated VPS' are already online on new node and rest are being moved one by one. Thank you for your patience.

Migration has been completed and all the VPS' are moved to newScion node and they are running fine from there. If you are experiencing any kind of issue please feel free to submit a ticket and Techs will look into it. Thank you for your patience and co-operation with this issue.

The firewalls on some of the vps are not working due to some missing iptables modules on the new hardware node. We have loaded them and some other settings and will be doing a restart of vz service (all vps will need a restart) to make the modules available for the vps. We will update you once all restarts are complete.
