Tracing the webhosting co. from an IP

Theres a website in spain that has copied some of my pages, and posted them with a bogus disclaimer saying they are an archive of my own pages. When I do a WHOIS on their domain name, to obtain the emails for the administrative contacts, I get emails that don't work. They are returned undeliverable.

I now want to try to track down the webhosting provider, to see if they can give me proper contact email addresses. Does anyone know the tools I would use to determine this?

The IP in question is 62.57.74.14

Sam Spade is good for getting started on that kind of detective work.

I've pm-ed you some potential contacts from the whois results, although you probably already have those. A "dig" in Sam Spade might turn up a few more leads for you.

Um... what makes you think they have a "provider"? One of my kids is running 5 websites out of his bedroom...

I just did a dig on that IP. That's a friggin TV cable company in Barcelona, Spain. He's running 19 websites out of his house, from the look of things. LoL! Good luck!

Here's a list of the sites:I think you'll get your best shot at:That looks like his site. The others look like sites he designed/hosts for clients.

There is only one resource for this type of stuff as far as I'm concerned:
