    Is this possible?

    Ok, so I've tried playing around with my ftp setups and can't figure out if this is possible.

    I want to set up an ftp account for a single person that will allow this person the ability to upload to the public_ftp instead of their folder in the public_html. It doesn't seem like this is possible, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

    No, as far as I know... FTP accounts are only for upload to a subdirectory of the public_html directory.
