multi-hosted name

Hi there. I'm having a little trouble with a multi-hosted domain. For this example, lets say my main domain is:

www.main.com

My multi-hosted account is:

www.123.com

I have the Gallery script running on my multi-hosted account. When I type in my browser:

www.123.com/gallery

The browser goes to Gallery properly, but the address in the browser changes to:

123.main.com/gallery

This is causing some apparent cookie problems in Gallery. It won't let anyone log in. Is there something I can to make sure that the main domain does not show in the browser address? Does this make sense?
