Anyone know why the chrome and dragon servers have been down for more than 12 hours?? The network status page reports them as completely down since around Sunday night, yet we're not supposed to open a ticket about this and there's no progress report or any sort of notification about what's going on and when our websites will be functioning again.

    Any information please??

Don't know. You'll have to take that up with tech support. There was some mention of them being down in the recent plutonium down thread.

Anyway, best to start a new thread on downtime on those servers if it's an ongoing problem. Not so obvious to find that kind of info under this one.

Seems that the mods have grabbed a bunch of related posts and merged them into this new thread. That's good, but it sure can play havoc with a post's original context and sequencing.

    [Chrome] Down

chrome has also been down for several hours, at least, though I see no mention of that here on the forums.

It's been mentioned in passing in some other server down threads today. Both Chrome and Dragon appear completely down from the Network status page. I'm not 100% sure whether the IPs those two entries are tracking are right. It wouldn't be the first time that there were a couple of incorrect entries on that page.

If it's really http://chrome.nocdirect.com/ and http://dragon.nocdirect.com/ that should be tracked (similar to many other servers here), then those resolve to completely different IPs. Both are currently online http-wise, at least for the moment. Those IPs may just be remnants from abandoned server configurations though.

It might be worthwhile to post the site name here. That way its online/offline status can be confirmed by others here.

Is anyone else having problem still? We had to do some emergency troubleshooting on both servers and they show up and running for us.

If you are having a problem please submit a support ticket so we can get your input.

Neither servers have been down, uptime reflects that as well. We did change the main server ip last night in order to segment those two servers. They are up though.

So as I said might be the case, the wrong IPs for chrome and dragon are being tracked on the network status page. That would account for the bank of red lights that have been showing there.

Note that the nocdirect links I listed above resolve to the new IPs Jag has listed.

Sure enough, thanks for the heads up.

You're welcome. Thanks for patching them up.

When you get the chance, it would be great if you could patch (or remove) the broken https://secure40.nocdirect.com and https://secure41.nocdirect.com links under Chrome and Dragon on that network status page as well.
