trying to create a counter

I am trynig to create a counter from your main page. After running submit (All the values are defaults) I get the following message:

Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.

This sometimes happens if your connection is slow or the page hits a hicup on its way back to you. Usually you can just hit refresh and everything will be fine. Assuming you are using the counter in the CPanel, right click on the frame that contains the error message and select refresh from the menu and you should be all set.

I tried many times, may be I am doing something wrong or I do not understand how it works. I press the "html" eyes and on the bottom in result filed I get a square with an "X". I thought I should get an html code to insert in my page and the server will keep a data file with the information. Or I should go somewhere else and find the code I need to add in my page

Clicking the eye should show you the style counter you
selected. Click HTML next to the eye. That will give you the
code for your page.
