I like Coppermine Photo Gallery. Runs fine on JagPC. Here's mine:

This is where you can get it:

    It's GPL - basically freeware...

As far as not seeing my pics, this is very interesting! I recently changed my DNS numbers. It seemed to work just fine, but after a couple of days (about the time it takes for the DNS numbers to propogate around the world) all of a sudden my 'page hits' dropped by more than half.

Hrm... I'm gonna go change the DNS numbers back again and see if this helps.

Don't do that. That's not the reason. You're blocking access to images to people who are behind firewalls. Most likely you have a line in your .htaccess file that requires a referring URL to view images, probably as part of an attempt to stop hotlinking. People who are behind firewalls won't send a referral, and you're denying them access by requiring one. There's been some threads on this awhile back. Do a search on "hotlink" or "hotlinking".

    Vin,

I don't know that this is of any significance. I have been able
to view the pictures at the above link on 2 different computers
    using 2 different ISPs.

I have a firewall on both computers. 1 is Zone alarm 6 and 1 is
    Zone alarm 4.

I don't want to get this thread off track, but Lookout raised an
interesting point that I would like to have more information on.

Lookout suggested the problem of viewing images could be the
result of hotlink protection in the .htaccess file.

A couple of months ago I added hotlink protection to the
.htaccess file. A week or so later a lady e-mailed me that she
could not see the images on our web site. The only thing she
saw was a Red X. At the time I dismissed her e-mail as being
someone who wanted to hotlink one of our images. For some
reason a few days later I connected with my laptop which has
Zone alarm 4. Sure enough no images would display.

Hope I have explained this. I could not figure out why 1 computer
displayed the images, and another did not until Lookout mentioned a possible problem with a firewall.

Since I could view the images on your web site with the lap
top did you make any changes today such as .htacess file?

I want to hotlink protect the web site because a lot of people
use images for the site in forums. However I can't prevent
    legitimate customers from seeing images.

I guess I'm in that old proverbial spot of being "between a
    rock and a hard place"

I don't think he made a change Connie, since when my firewall is enabled, the images are still blocked today. When disabled, I see them fine. Probably depends on the firewall you're using and its configuration. Basically, Vin is not allowing empty referrals to get thru, which means no image for some visitors. Some browsers also can be configured to hide the referring URL.
